Currently a Managing Director at CFM, Tess Shih has spent much of her career working with pensions, endowments, foundations, family offices, platforms, and consultants to allocate across commodities, currencies, equities, fixed income, and derivative portfolios.
Tess has successfully raised billions of dollars and has advised both senior J.P. Morgan leadership as well as $100bn+ institutional investors on strategy, integration, and capital allocation. Tess chairs the Research Committee of the Alternative Investment Management Association where she has helped publish industry reports on topics including big data, machine-learning, and talent. Tess also serves as Commissioner for one of our nation’s largest public library systems and as Vice Chair of the Community Advisory Board for The WNET Group, an Emmy award-winning PBS member station.
With two decades of experience on Wall Street and partnering with corporates, governments, and non-profits to invest and expand brand presence, Tess obtained her MBA from the Harvard Business School. Tess graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California, where she was inducted into the Order of the Laurel and Palm for her exemplary leadership and contributions to the University and world at large.
