Julie is a successful visionary technology CEO and board director with service as Board Chair, Vice Chair, Governance, Strategy, Technology, and Audit for companies ranging from start-ups, private equity/venture owned to large Fortune 500 and family offices. Her expertise stems from more than 25+ years as a global Fortune 500 Growth officer at Best Buy and as a solo founder/CEO of AI SaaS company (successful exit). She also visioned and built business growth while a McKinsey Certified Technology Partner, as well as M&A corporate tax expertise as Senior Manager at Deloitte. She has P&L responsibility from greenfield start-up to $17B in revenue.

She has deep board advisory and board member experience across technology, services, banking and insurance, energy and raw materials, healthcare, life sciences, sports and entertainment, manufacturing, consumer products, and consumer. Currently, she leads as CEO of Full Throttle Growth & Capital with public companies and private equity clients globally visioning and building accelerated growth and protecting critical assets (cybersecurity) with her team of successful entrepreneur operators. She visions and collaborates with C-suite teams to build accelerated growth for stock price accretion or higher multiple exits. She brings her deep experience in building growth from her multi-generational family businesses and Fortune 50 as Best Buy Senior Vice President of Growth as well as a deep foundation in corporate taxation and M&A from almost 9 years at Deloitte in NYC and Minneapolis. She remains an active CPA.

Previously, she visioned, built, scaled, and led as CEO PreciouStatus.AI to clients in 178 countries with tech stacks and business teams in healthcare, education, and the military. This SaaS encrypted communication enables private secure communications between professionals and families. She also visioned and built a large data lake with algorithms to a second B2B business model with Fortune 500 companies. It was the first in the industry. After bootstrapping, she secured multiple capital raises including private equity and achieved a successful exit in 2019.

Currently, she is a 2026 Editorial Advisory Board Member for Private Company Director Magazine and was chosen as 2025 Top Private “Director to Watch” (1 of 30 board directors chosen based on referrals from CEO and Board directors). In addition, she was nominated by private equity firms who partner with her to be chosen as 2026 “Most Inspiring Entrepreneur of the Year” by New York Weekly and 2026 Marquis “Who’s Who.” She also is an NACD Board Governance Fellow.

Julie has extensive involvement with the federal government. She has spent the past 15 years collaborating on special projects with the U.S. federal government in various departments. She has led the development of sophisticated technology platforms that power advanced intelligence, secure encrypted communications, and strategic initiatives and operations. She also introduces and assists with onboarding specialized technology and solutions to various departments.

Julie has a background with multigenerational family businesses in oil and gas, retail, construction, and services business as well as family office. She has directly partnered with large family offices, including working directly with Dick Schulze, founder of Best Buy, on his many investment and turnaround ventures. She has extensive experience advising other family offices on their strategic investments.

She holds an MBA in Strategy and Marketing and a BS in Accounting from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

She is an active and licensed CPA, and NACD Board Fellow and regular author and contributor to Private Company Director. Outside of work, she is passionate about fitness, art, music, nature, history, performance cars, and was a former competitive ballroom dancer.
