Shonn Brown is strategic business leader known for her action-based, results- oriented approach. In August 2024, Shonn joined the North America Executive Team of Heidelberg Materials, a leading supplier of cement, aggregates, ready mixed concrete and asphalt with more than 450 locations and approximately 9,000 employees, leading the legal and compliance teams across the United States and Canada. In less than a year in role in addition to continuing to build her team and advance her proactive business-focused style, Shonn closed a $620 million acquisition expanding Heidelberg Materials’ presence in the Southeastern U.S. and New England markets. Before her current role, Shonn made her mark in the consumer goods industry as Deputy General Counsel for Kimberly-Clark (NYSE:KMB), a $20 billion-dollar company through three years of impactful leadership of the global litigation team mitigating risk, obtaining significant victories for the company and advising on public policy, with responsibility for preparing for and presenting to the Audit Committee, followed by two years as the inaugural lawyer supporting the global sustainability group partnering with internal and external stakeholders with an increased focus on addressing social and environmental. Shonn’s journey to the C-Suite has a foundation in her over two decades as an experienced trial lawyer where she honed the ability to digest volumes of data to solve complex problems.
