Dr. Ranit Mishori is a physician executive, enterprise risk leader, and global governance advisor whose work sits at the intersection of workforce health, operational resilience, human capital, and ESG governance. As Chief Health and Safety Officer at the World Bank Group, she leads global health, safety, and wellbeing strategy for more than 30,000 staff and families across 140+ countries, including fragile, high-risk, and geopolitically complex environments. She oversees enterprise frameworks for workforce resilience, crisis preparedness, climate-related workforce risk, occupational health and safety, and duty of care, advising senior leadership on issues central to enterprise performance, business continuity, reputation, and responsible global operations.

Previously, Dr. Mishori served as Vice President and Chief Public Health Officer at Georgetown University, where she built and led the university’s public health and crisis response infrastructure during COVID-19, guiding enterprise strategy during one of the most complex operational disruptions in modern institutional history. She was also Professor of Family Medicine at Georgetown University, where her work had focused on public health, human rights, and vulnerable populations.

Dr. Mishori brings substantial governance experience through decades of service on nonprofit boards, national commissions, advisory boards, and institutional governance bodies spanning public health, higher education, climate, human rights, and the arts. Her experience includes fiduciary oversight, governance committee leadership, strategic planning, and policy development across local, national, and global institutions.

A former journalist and widely published author, Dr. Mishori combines analytical rigor, strategic communication, and operational leadership. She brings boards a distinctive perspective on enterprise risk, human capital, crisis leadership, and responsible global operations.
