As a highly accomplished strategic finance leader and board director, Mary Gentry has significant expertise in leading strategy formulation, corporate finance, and mergers & acquisitions [M&A] activity for small-cap public companies in the technology and financial services sectors. A trusted partner to her peers and C-suite executives, to board service, she offers specialized expertise in capital allocation, investor relations, financial communications, governance, and risk management. From more than 25 years as an investor relations officer, she is skilled at providing investor perspective for long-term strategy and value creation. Throughout her career, she has served in several high-level executive positions and led multiple corporate transactions.

Mary is currently Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasurer with ScanSource, a Fortune 1000 technology company, where she has managed the company’s corporate finance function, including treasury, investor relations, FP&A, tax, and corporate communications across global markets. As corporate treasurer, she raised $500M of debt for multi-currency credit facilities and managed banking relationships, an effort that enabled the company to execute its growth plan. She was also instrumental in completing ten M&A transactions [with more than $600M in investments], including the acquisition of Intelisys. This effort fundamentally transformed ScanSource into the digital distribution leader that it is today. Additionally, she led the development of the company’s ESG strategy and ESG annual reports. She co-chairs the ESG Steering Committee and formerly served as co-executive sponsor for the Women in the Workforce Employee Group.
