Former Intel technology executive with four decades of leadership across highly automated semiconductor manufacturing, secure product development, and global engineering operations. Led a 1,000-person manufacturing facility with a strong safety and quality culture, improved the security and resiliency of Intel’s product line, and prepared board-level risk assessments that contributed to approximately $0.5B in annual cost avoidance. Able to connect technical complexity to stakeholder trust and long-term value.

Gaeta is known for asking the right questions, for listening carefully, and being a sought-after strategic technology partner with strong ethics and integrity. Throughout her career, Gaeta has been a vigilant guide on governance and developing technical teams. In a COO-equivalent role, she transformed Intel’s Platform Engineering Group, $3B R&D 25,000-member engineering horizontal developing all of Intel’s product lines across more than twenty countries. Helping her global teams see around corners, an aspect of strategic acumen that is her strength, prevented product ramp surprises. She has the reputation of developing teams that others aspire to join and has expertise in attracting diverse talent demonstrated by improving technical female and URM representation by 50% in engineering. Her M&A experience includes onboarding and divesting of engineering teams at Intel. She operates best where her strategic technology insights intersect with talent leading to remarkable results.
Gaeta is an independent director on private company boards; currently serving on ElevATE Semiconductor, manufacturer of chips for automated test equipment, and previously on Stearns Bank, N.A., a MN based ESOP community bank and holding company. She sits on the Advisory Board of Qtonic Quantum, an independent quantum security advisory firm. She is also Chair of the Board for the nonprofit Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley and board member of the Latino Corporate Directors Education Foundation. Professionally she is a member of The National Association of Corporate Directors where she received certification in Risk Oversight and Management and Compliance and Ethics. Diligent Institute issued her a certification in Cyber Risk and Strategy in February 2024.

Gaeta is a recognized thought leader on navigating the tech workplace and is frequently invited to speak internationally on ESG topics. She was named a Women of Influence by Silicon Valley Business Journal in 2024, Top 100 Latino leaders in Technology by HITEC, selected as one of 50 Women to Watch for Boards by 5050 Women on Boards in 2023, featured in 2021 Leading Latinas by Hispanic Executive magazine, and named 2018 Top Latino leader by the National Diversity Council. Gaeta received BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and was the first in her family to go to college. Overcoming obstacles resiliently is her superpower.
