Barbara Stoyko is a senior executive and board chair with more than 30 years of experience leading large-scale consumer, retail, and infrastructure businesses within a Fortune 20 company. She is recognized for her ability to drive enterprise transformation while delivering sustained financial and operational performance, and for elevating decision quality through disciplined governance, capital allocation, and risk oversight.

Barbara currently serves as Senior Vice President, Americas Mobility & Convenience at Shell, with full P&L and balance-sheet accountability for a multi-billion-dollar business spanning more than 14,000 retail locations, eight joint ventures, and a multi-channel operating model across North America. Her scope includes enterprise strategy, M&A, capital deployment, pricing and logistics, brand and loyalty, digital and data strategy, and large-scale operating execution.

Under her leadership, the business delivered record cash flow and earnings growth while maintaining returns on capital above 25%. She led the re-establishment of company-operated retail and convenience stores and built Shell’s EV charging platform in North America, accelerating growth through multiple strategic acquisitions exceeding $1 billion in value.

A chemical engineer by training, Barbara brings an analytical, systems-driven approach to complex business challenges. Her experience spans traditional and low-carbon energy, supply and logistics, joint venture and subsidiary formation, brand-led growth, and the energy transition.

Barbara brings deep and practical board experience. She is Chair of Shell Mobility & Convenience (SMC), LLC, where she established governance, executive compensation, ethics and compliance, and HSSE systems following acquisition and has overseen double-digit growth since inception. She previously served as Chair of Volta, Inc., leading the acquisition and integration of a publicly traded EV platform, and as a founding board member of AU Energy, guiding its evolution into a $1B+ retail business. She also serves as lead shareholder representative across eight retail joint ventures, directing board composition, evaluating performance, and driving value creation.

Barbara is Chair of Shell Petroleum Inc., a board member of Shell USA, and serves on Shell USA’s Compensation & Reward and Talent Development & Acquisition committees.
