Dawn is an accomplished independent director and committee chair.  For over five years, Dawn has served on the Board of Directors of Elevate Services, a technology (AI) and legal services company, operating on five continents and providing services to 100 Global 1000 Law Departments and 20 Global 50 Law Firms. Dawn chairs the Risk Committee, is a Compensation Committee member and former Audit Committee member.

Dawn has successfully led engagements with CEOs, corporate boards, and c-suite executives at public and private companies across multiple industries as general counsel or in the senior legal role including, (Princess Cruise Lines/Carnival Group (NYSE:CCL) and (LSE:CCL), Royal Bank of Scotland/Citizens Bank (NYSE:RBS), Allianz/Fireman’s Fund (ALV.DE:XETRA), and Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE:JWN).   For over a decade, Dawn has served on the executive team as General Counsel (RHIC) for the Murcor Inc. family of companies, a government contractor, providing financial and real estate services throughout the United States and the U.S. Territories.

Dawn has significant global expertise in successfully overseeing and providing pragmatic  solutions to complex and evolving strategic, governance and enterprise-wide matters. Dawn has a forged a reputation for her sophisticated and strategic leadership in bet-the-company crisis management situations. She is in the forefront of identifying business innovation models and related opportunities for growth.  Dawn has a deep understanding of how to conduct business and grow companies in geographies around the globe, with special attention to the Asia Pacific region.  She has lived in China and has Mandarin language training.

In addition to her private company board service, Dawn has extensive experience serving as a board member for global trade associations and not for profits; often serving as the chairperson. She is a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy and serves on the FBI Citizens Academy Board. She is an adjunct professor and guest lecturer at law and business schools and trade associations on cybersecurity and AI, global transactions and M & A, corporate governance, crisis management, leadership and ESG, corporate social responsibility and human capital management.
