Diane Schwarz is a visionary technology executive and board director with more than 20 years of continuous progression and achievement in orchestrating impactful technology and culture transformations that focus on delivering business value and operational efficiency for complex organizations.

In her current role, Diane serves as the Vice President and Group Chief Information Officer for Smurfit Westrock, a $32B global paper packaging solutions company. She leads a global, business-aligned IT organization, manages a $1B budget, and drives the execution of enterprise-wide IT strategy that ensures the business integration on which the newly merged Smurfit Westrock scales and achieves its global growth objectives. Previously she was the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Johnson Controls, a $26B building solutions company, the Chief Digital and Information Officer at Hunt Consolidated, one of the largest privately held oil and energy companies in the U.S., and Global CIO at Textron, a $14B industrial, aerospace, and defense manufacturer.

Throughout her career Diane led global technology teams in North/South America, Europe, Asia, and Middle East, and supported businesses in more than 100 countries. She advised corporate boards on cybersecurity and business-aligned IT strategies for digital and technology transformation, acquiring extensive corporate governance, compliance, and enterprise risk management experience. Concurrent to her internal corporate governance contributions, she is a customer advisory board member to external technology firms.

Diane is a founding board member of T200, a nonprofit of top women enterprise technology executives committed to developing the next generation of women in tech.
