Byron Loflin is the Global Head of Board Advisory at Nasdaq where he leads the governance team in driving board and governance effectiveness. Byron founded Center for Board Excellence (CBE) in 2010 and was CEO until it was acquired by Nasdaq in 2019. Prior to CBE, Byron was the CEO and president for two private companies between 1992-2009. Byron is the architect and developer of a governance platform and tools used by thousands of board members globally.
Along with speaking on and teaching corporate governance effectiveness, Byron has co-authored the book CEO Ready with Mark Thompson and being published by Harvard Business Review, November 2025. The book draws insights from their over 25 years of experience with board dynamics including CEO succession. Byron is a graduate of James Madison University (BA) and Harvard Business School (OPM) and an active learner with several HBS Executive Education Certificates including Havard’s Board Effectiveness program.

Titi Cole is an experienced Board Director, Financial Services C-Suite Executive, and Global business leader. She serves on the Boards of Citigroup, (NYSE: C), and Datadog (NASDAQ: DDOG) a leading provider of cloud monitoring and security solutions.
In her last role at Citigroup, she was the CEO of Legacy Franchises and a member of the Executive Management Team where she managed and successfully divested the international consumer banking division with over 70,000 employees in 14 countries. Ms. Cole is known for her expertise in transforming large publicly traded financial institutions to deliver innovative solutions that drive growth. She is recognized in the financial services industry as a dynamic leader and for her skill at leading high-performing teams and delivering business results in fast-paced environments. She has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services, payments, and professional services industries, including six years at McKinsey & Company.
She is also a Board Trustee at CARE USA, Queens University of Charlotte, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, CFR, and The Executive Leadership Council, ELC. Ms. Cole serves as Executive Director of Development for the Sickle Cell Hope Alive Foundation, a nonprofit focused on improving awareness, support, and health outcomes for people living with Sickle Cell disease.

In her nearly 40 years in industry, Judy Marks has witnessed technological advances while applying emerging and mature technologies in a way that benefits society. She is leading Otis through a digital and cultural transformation that will drive its long-term success returning to an independent, publicly traded company. Otis is the world’s leading company for elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation and service.
Today, Otis is taking its deep knowledge of the hoistway and using it to create digital solutions that serve customers’ needs in an era of intelligent buildings. In February 2022, Judy was also named Chair of Otis. Prior to Otis, she held senior leadership roles at three global icons – IBM, Lockheed Martin and Siemens AG where she served as CEO of both Siemens USA and Dresser-Rand, a Siemens business.

She earned a degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University.
