Beatriz Ruiz Velasco De La Garza is a transformative banking and technology executive with over 30 years of experience modernizing large-scale operations, leading digital and cultural transformation, and managing cross-functional teams in high-stakes environments. Currently serving as CTO and Modernization Head at Banamex, she has played a pivotal role in the successful separation of Citibanamex into two financial institutions and in leading critical infrastructure advancements—including the core banking transformation and renewal of a 9,000+ ATM network.

Previously Head of Operations at Citibanamex, Beatriz oversaw a team of nearly 10,000, driving operational excellence, risk control, and customer experience across one of Mexico’s most complex financial ecosystems. Her leadership is marked by continuous innovation, stakeholder trust, and a people-first approach that delivers both financial performance and cultural progress. She holds executive education credentials from Duke University and advanced degrees in finance and accounting from Tec de Monterrey.
