Laura Tapia Navarro is a seasoned independent board member and former Procter & Gamble executive with over 30 years of experience driving growth, transformation, and innovation across consumer goods, retail, insurance, energy, and education sectors. She brings a global perspective, deep governance expertise, and a proven ability to guide organizations through strategic evolution.

She currently serves on the boards of General de Seguros and GEMSO Group, where she chairs the Corporate Strategy and Governance Committee. Her previous board roles include leadership at Grupo Cristal, Rendilitros, Canasta Rosa, GAIA Design (as board observer via IDB), Bancoppel’s New Products Committee, and multiple nonprofit and educational institutions. She has chaired key committees including Planning & Finance, Marketing & Innovation, and Professional Enrichment.

At Procter & Gamble, Laura served as LATAM Marketing Director, overseeing a $150 million budget and leading cross-border teams across eight countries. She played a central role in digital transformation, shopper neuroscience, and brand capability development for iconic brands like Pampers, Vicks, and Pringles.

Today, she is a trusted consultant to global brands such as Nestlé, Citibanamex, and Grupo Bimbo, helping shape marketing capability, portfolio strategy, and behavioral insights across the consumer journey.

Laura holds credentials from Harvard, INSEAD, IPADE, and the NACD. She is an active member of Women Corporate Directors, the International Women’s Forum, and a top-ranked mentor to high-impact entrepreneurs. Named one of CNN Expansion’s Most Powerful Women in Mexico for seven consecutive years, she is recognized for her strategic acumen, collaborative leadership, and boardroom impact.
