Currently, Ms. Hinojosa Segura is the Associate Vice Chancellor & Controller for one of the largest university systems in the nation, the University of Texas System. Under her leadership, Veronica has executive oversight and financial reporting responsibilities for 13 health and academic institutions with a consolidated net position of $65B, an investment portfolio of $75B, and an operating budget of $24B. In her short tenure, Veronica has been recognized for implementing innovative digital transformational corporate best practices within an academic business environment. She re-engineered her organizational structure by creating centers of excellence which reduced cycle times, generated timely financial reporting, and implemented innovative solutions. She was also selected by the Chancellor to serve on an institution wide executive team responsible for implementing a cutting-edge enterprise risk management plan.
