Erin Zipes is currently Chief Legal Officer at 1Password, a security and password management company last valued at US$6.8B after their Series C round in January 2022. Previously, she served as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel at Shopify (NYSE/TSX: SHOP) from pre-IPO in 2014 until December 2021. Before that she was Assistant General Counsel at Nordion (formerly NYSE/TSX), and she started her legal career at Stikeman Elliott. She formerly served on the board of Mindbridge (AI-driven financial risk discovery for audit and internal controls) and currently serves as Chair of the Governance Committee for the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation.
