Sunnie J. Groeneveld is an entrepreneur and board member with expertise at the intersection of technology, leadership, and organizational transformation. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of the consultancy Inspire 925 and serves on the boards of Sympany (health insurance), Jung von Matt (advertising), HHM (building services engineering), Alpian (financial services), and Galledia Group (media), where she contributes her strategic experience in digitalization and change. At the HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Zurich, Sunnie is the Dean of the Executive MBA in Digital Leadership, shaping the next generation of executives.
She previously directed the Institute for Digital Business at HWZ and was the inaugural Managing Director of digitalswitzerland, where she helped establish the country’s largest cross-industry initiative to accelerate digital transformation. She also co-founded Inspire 529 and LunchLottery, ventures focused on community-building, stakeholder engagement, and cross-organizational collaboration.
Sunnie graduated in Economics from Yale University, earned a Corporate Director Certificate from Harvard Business School, and was awarded an honorary doctorate from the International Institute in Geneva. Her work has been recognized with numerous honors, including Forbes’ “30 Under 30”, the Top 100 Women in Business, and 100 Digital Shapers of Switzerland. She currently divides her time between Zurich and New York.
