As a financial executive and growth strategist, Tess Shih is currently a Region Head of a $12bn global investment firm and oversees $1bn in assets under management.

Over her career, Tess has raised over $6bn and has advised both senior J.P. Morgan executives as well as $100bn+ institutional investors on strategy, capital allocation, and integration. In addition to obtaining her MBA from Harvard Business School, Tess is an expert speaker and has helped publish industry reports on investments and derivatives; big data and artificial intelligence; talent; investor alignment around fees, compensation, and value service offerings; ESG and DEI. She has been named one of “50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds” by Ernst & Young, one of “40 Under 40” by InvestmentNews, and one of Crain’s “Notable Diverse Leaders in Banking and Finance.” Tess serves as Commissioner for one of the nation’s largest public library systems. Her board experience includes chairing the Alternative Investment Management Association Research Committee and The WNET Group Community Advisory Board Nominating Committee.

With two decades of experience on Wall Street, Tess is immediately qualified to serve on Finance & Audit Committees, including boards of mutual funds, insurance, community banks, and FinTech companies.
