Patricia (Patty) Martone Carrolo is a senior technology executive with 30 years of global P&L experience helping companies digitally transform their organizations. Patty’s career reflects a demonstrated track record in global general management, business development, product management, and consulting. Patty is a recognized thought leader in the healthcare and life sciences industry and has extensive experience helping organizations leverage Data, AI, ML, Cybersecurity, and Cloud to become more customer-centric digital enterprises. Currently, Patty is a Vice President at Google Cloud, and is partnering with C-suite executives from global Fortune 500 and start-up organizations to transform their businesses and realize value from Google Cloud.

Patty was formerly General Manager of IBM’s $4.5B Global Healthcare and Life Sciences organization and was accountable for P&L and client success for the entire IBM portfolio including technology, consulting, Data, AI, ML, Cybersecurity, and Cloud. As one of the inaugural executives in the IBM Watson (AI) organization, Patty led the emerging technologies team and launched and scaled innovative AI solutions globally.

Earlier in her career, Patty was a Product Manager at Hewlett Packard’s Medical Products Group (now Philips Medical) where she led efforts to launch six new medical imaging offerings globally. Patty also served as a Senior Consultant at CSC / Index Group where she led numerous business process reengineering engagements, and as a Global Product Manager at Sun Microsystems. Patty began her career as a Technical Sales Executive at Hewlett Packard. Currently, Patty is serving as a Board Director for Harvard Business School’s Global Healthcare Alumni Association where she leads the Virtual Roundtable Series and is an accomplished speaker on the topics of digital transformation, innovations in healthcare, AI, ML, Cloud, STEM, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).

Patty holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with high distinction, from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Patty and her husband live in the Boston area and have two daughters.
