Patricia (Patty) Martone Carrolo is a senior technology executive with 30 years of global P&L experience helping organizations leverage AI, ML, Data, Cybersecurity, and Cloud to become more customer-centric digital enterprises. A recognized thought leader in the healthcare and life sciences industry, Patty’s career reflects a demonstrated track record in global general management, sales, business development, product management, and consulting.

Currently, Patty is Corporate Vice President of Microsoft’s $10B US Health and Life Sciences organization and is accountable for P&L, sales, marketing, partnerships, strategy, customer success, and consulting for Microsoft’s entire solution portfolio.

Patty was formerly a Vice President at Google Cloud, General Manager of IBM’s $4.5B Global Healthcare and Life Sciences organization, and was one of the inaugural executives in the IBM Watson (AI) organization where she launched and scaled innovative AI solutions globally.

Earlier in her career, Patty was a Product Manager at Hewlett Packard’s Medical Products Group (now Philips Medical) where she led efforts to launch six new global medical imaging offerings. Patty also served as a Senior Consultant at CSC / Index Group where she led numerous business process reengineering engagements, and as a Global Product Manager at Sun Microsystems. Patty began her career as a Technical Sales Executive at Hewlett Packard.

Currently, Patty is serving as a Board Member for Ellab, and previously served two terms as a Board Member for the Harvard Business School Global Healthcare Alumni Association. She is an accomplished speaker on the topics of digital transformation, innovations in healthcare, AI, ML, Cloud, STEM, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).

Patty holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with high distinction, from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Patty and her husband live in the Boston area and have two daughters.
