Ms. Solivan is currently a Managing Director at Fuel Capital, where she manages three high performing funds and a portfolio spanning consumer, B2B, AI, fintech, marketplaces, digital health, food tech, and retail.

Ms. Solivan created one of the most widely recognized consumer technology brands of the decade with TaskRabbit, the pioneering on-demand marketplace company she founded in 2008. As TaskRabbit’s CEO for eight years, she scaled the company into an international business with operations in 44 cities. In 2017 she oversaw TaskRabbit’s successful sale to IKEA, strategically securing a global go-to-market partner to continue building the TaskRabbit brand internationally.

Ms. Solivan began her career as a software engineer at IBM, she earned a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Sweet Briar College, where she served on the Board of Directors. Ms. Solivan has taken an active role in YPO. A member since 2014, she was awarded the Alexander Capello Award, the highest honor in membership, for her work in promoting gender equity. In 2023 she became Chair of the Regional Board, she serves on a global committee for the YPO International Board. Ms. Solivan is highly networked across 142 countries and top business leaders around the world.

In 2024, Ms. Solivan was nominated to the Board of the Walt Disney Company. She worked with Blackwells, which ran a friendly and collaborative campaign supporting Bob Iger and the Disney Board. She prepared roadshow materials and presented to proxy advisors such as ISS and Glass Lewis, as well as institutional investors such as BlackRock, Vanguard, BNY Mellon, and more.

Ms. Solivan has been a frequent speaker at events such as the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland and Tina Brown’s Women in the World Summit. Her achievements have been featured in publications including the Wall Street Journal, Wired, and Time, and Fast Company named her one of the “100 Most Creative People in Business.” She is a regular contributor to Fast Company and has appeared on MSNBC, Bloomberg, and How I Built This with Guy Raz.
