Marketing Manager
Vanessa Torres is a digital project manager with more than ten years of experience developing global email marketing and eCommerce strategies for retail, finance, and hospitality brands. Her expertise and passion for the customer experience generate increased brand awareness and compel audiences to get involved. Before joining 50/50 Women on Boards, Vanessa was a Digital Marketing Manager at MFI Medical Equipment, Inc and was responsible for managing a million-dollar annual budget. Her prior nonprofit experience includes volunteering for The Tahirih Justice Center, a national nonprofit that has served over 30,000 immigrant survivors fleeing gender-based violence. Vanessa earned two associate degrees in English and English Literature from Southwestern College and is currently completing her bachelor’s in English at San Diego State University.
