Ed Thomas is Managing Partner of Deloitte Seattle and serves as global lead partner for a number of the firm’s larger clients. He recently commenced leadership of Deloitte’s Leadership Development and Succession, including the firm’s senior roles and high-potential programs. Ed was a co-founder of onBoarding Women, an initiative seeking to impact the gender diversity of board membership, enhancing board effectiveness. Ed serves as dean of Deloitte’s senior leadership program, “C-Suite Mastery”, a.k.a. the “Arts of Empathy, Inquiry, Story and Engagement.” He also serves on the boards for Plymouth Housing, Habitat for Humanity and the Seattle Foundation, where he is board chair. Ed has a passion for understanding and resolving challenging issues, whether at a client, community or personal level. He is also a passionate runner, cyclist, fly-fisher and devotes time growing tasty heirloom tomatoes on his small farm in Walla Walla, Washington with his wife Carmen.
