Prior to joining CoreSite as President and CEO, Mr Szurek served as Chief Financial Officer of Biltmore Farms, LLC, a developer and operator of mixed-use master-planned communities. Mr. Szurek has previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Security Capital Group, as a director of the Charlotte, North Carolina branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and as a director of two publicly traded real estate companies, Regency Centers and Security Capital U.S Realty. Mr Szurek received a J.D. with honors from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in Government, magna cum laude, from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mary Beth is a former CEO with 25 years of experience in the telecommunications and consumer products industries. Currently, she is Chair of the Board at Pareteum, a global cloud-based technology platform. She serves on the board of GEHA, a health and dental insurance provider where she chairs the Risk and Technology Committee. She was a founding member of former Governor Owen’s Commission on Science and Technology. Mary Beth has earned the NACD Director Certification, the Cyber Security Oversight certificate and is an SEC qualified financial expert. As a member of the NACD faculty she delivers customized in-boardroom training. She chaired Colorado’s successful legislative resolution that encourages increased board representation of women on public boards in Colorado. In 2020 she was recognized as NACD’s top 100 directors. She received a B.A. from Hillsdale College, an M.S. from the University of Colorado and completed the Advanced Management Program from Wharton.

Eric is the lead independent director of InBank, a community bank based in New Mexico and Colorado.
